Step-by-step guide

First login after the change

On your first login after your username changes, you must use "Other user" on the Windows login screen β€” not your existing profile tile. This guide walks you through it with screenshots.

Your new login
πŸ‡ΈπŸ‡ͺ Sweden
firstname.lastname@ad.kry.se
β†’ firstname.lastname@kry.se
πŸ‡³πŸ‡΄ Norway
firstname.lastname@ad.kry.no
β†’ firstname.lastname@kry.no

Password stays the same.

⚠️

Don't tap your existing profile tile. If you do, the login will fail. Always use "Other user" at the bottom-left of the login screen for your first sign-in.

1

Know your go-live date

  1. Norway: Monday 25 May 2026. Sweden: Monday 1 June 2026.
  2. You'll know your new username in advance β€” it'll be firstname.lastname@kry.se (Sweden) or firstname.lastname@kry.no (Norway).
  3. Your password stays exactly the same.
  4. From that date onwards, the change is in effect. You'll get reminders by email leading up to it β€” but you don't need to wait for them.
2

Sign out β€” only if you're still signed in

Skip this step if your computer is already at the Windows login screen. Go straight to Step 3.

  1. Click the Windows (Start) button (bottom-left corner of your screen).
  2. Click your profile name / icon at the top of the Start menu.
  3. Select "Sign out".
  4. Wait until the Windows login screen appears.

Sign in with your new username

  1. On the login screen, look at the bottom-left.
  2. Click "Other user" (this is the key step β€” do not click your existing profile tile above it).
  3. In the Email address field, enter your new username: firstname.lastname@kry.se (or firstname.lastname@kry.no if you're in Norway).
  4. Enter your existing password.
  5. Press Enter to sign in.

Then enter your new credentials

After clicking "Other user", you'll see this screen. Enter your new username and existing password.

TROUBLESHOOTING

If something goes wrong

I clicked my old profile by mistake and the login failed
No problem β€” this is expected if you click the old profile. Sign out (or wait for the login to fail), then start over from Step 2 above. This time make sure to click "Other user" at the bottom-left.
I can't remember my password
Use aka.ms/sspr from another device (phone, tablet, another laptop) to reset your password. Then come back and sign in with your new username and the new password. Note: SSPR only works if your personal email is correctly registered in Workday β€” if it fails, raise a Zendesk ticket.
The screen looks different from these screenshots
Windows occasionally updates the login experience. The key step is the same: look for "Other user" at the bottom-left of the login screen and use that to sign in with your new username.
I'm still stuck
Raise a Zendesk ticket at clinical-help.kry.se.
